financial wellness residency

Acknowledging that cash-poor artists of color inevitably face the urgent stressors of decision-making about their current financial state and future, the CreateWell Fund is partnering with MASS MoCA's Asset for Artists program to help fill a critical gap in enabling artists to access the space, time, knowledge, and skills to reflect upon, re-evaluate, and plan for their financial well-being, while also attending to their creative growth. The artists selected for this special opportunity will receive a full fee waiver, and a stipend.

At least 2 Massachusetts-based artists of color applying through this CreateWell application will receive a free 4-week "Financial Wellness" residency at the Studios at MASS MoCA in North Adams, MA, in January 2021.
